Privacy Policy

Last updated August 23, 2026

StreamHelpers.com and StreamHelpers Premium Chat are operated by Blue Soup Enterprises ("StreamHelpers", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, use a distributed self-hosted tool, or use the hosted Premium Chat service.

The short version. Premium Chat needs a small amount of account, subscription, router-pairing, and platform-connection data to work. We do not sell personal information, do not use provider data for advertising, and keep OAuth credentials encrypted on our server rather than exposing them to your browser or router.

1. Information we collect

Website and download activity

Our web server may record standard request information, including IP address, timestamp, requested page or download, referrer, and user-agent. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website. We do not run third-party advertising analytics on the site at the time of this policy.

Premium Chat account and pairing information

When you use Premium Chat, we process your email address for passwordless sign-in, an encrypted account record, subscription status and Stripe customer reference, a router device identifier, and a cryptographic verification value for the router pairing secret. The pairing secret itself is never sent to your browser and is not stored in readable form on our server.

Platform connection information

When you choose to connect YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick, or another supported platform, we process the account or channel you select and the access credentials returned by that platform. Refresh tokens and access tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not display stored refresh tokens or OAuth client secrets in the Premium Chat account page.

Billing information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. Stripe sends us subscription and customer identifiers, subscription status, and event records needed to activate, maintain, or revoke Premium Chat access.

2. How we use information

We use the information above only to provide, secure, support, and improve the requested service: authenticate your account, send a one-time sign-in link, verify paid access, pair your router, connect the platform accounts you authorize, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

3. Google API Services user data

Where you authorize YouTube through Google, StreamHelpers accesses Google user data only to provide the Premium Chat features you requested, such as identifying your selected channel and reading live-chat data. We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements, build advertising profiles, or transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or protect security. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. When information is shared

We share information only with the providers needed to operate a feature you choose:

5. Security and retention

We use HTTPS, secure and HttpOnly session cookies, one-time login links, CSRF protections for authenticated actions, replay protection for Stripe webhooks, encrypted provider credentials, and an application-private data directory. No system is completely secure, so do not share your router pairing secret or account login link.

We retain account, pairing, and subscription records while they are needed to provide Premium Chat, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud. Expired magic links and temporary pairing records are removed automatically. To request account-data deletion, contact us using the contact method below; deleting an account may end access to Premium Chat.

6. Your choices and rights

You can disconnect a router from Premium Chat, revoke a platform's authorization through that platform, or contact us about your account information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional access, correction, deletion, or objection rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

7. Self-hosted tools

Most StreamHelpers tools remain self-hosted on equipment you control. Those tools do not include analytics or telemetry that sends your credentials or chat messages to us. You are responsible for securing any self-hosted installation and for handling data visible through it.

8. Children and changes

Our services are not directed to children. We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new date at the top of this page.

9. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact Blue Soup Enterprises through bluesoup.biz.
